Marshfield United Methodist Church is located
in Marshfield, Massachusetts, about 0.9 miles west of Marshfield Center, at 185 Plain Street, on Route 139. |
- Coming from Marshfield Center - Head west on Ocean Street (Route 139 West) going towards Pembroke. Travel about 0.9 miles to the church, along Ocean Street, which becomes Plain Street. The church will be on your left; the entrance drive is just past the church. (Note - Route 139 runs concurrently with Route 3A for about the first 0.4 miles - do not turn right on Route 3A North as it turns right towards Scituate and Cohasset, but stay straight on Route 139 West, towards Route 3.)
- Coming from Rte. 3 heading south (from the Boston area) - Take Exit 12 ("139 Marshfield Pembroke") from Route 3 and bear right at the bottom of the exit ramp ("139 East Marshfield") onto Route 139 in Pembroke, heading east towards Marshfield. Go under the Route 3 bridges and then travel about 2.3 miles along Route 139 to the church, as Church Street in Pembroke quickly becomes Plain Street in Marshfield. The church will be on your right; the entrance drive is just before the church.
- Coming from Rte. 3 heading north (from the Plymouth area) - Take Exit 11 ("14 Duxbury Pembroke") from Route 3 and bear right at the end of the exit ramp ("14 East Duxbury") onto Route 14 towards Duxbury. You will immediately come to a small rotary, which you should go three-fourths of the way around, and then turn onto Lincoln Street. Travel along Lincoln Street, which becomes Acorn Street, for a distance of about 2.4 miles. There will then be a Stop sign where Acorn Street merges left onto Moraine Street (Route 3A). Proceed 0.3 miles along Moraine Street, turning left at the traffic lights onto Ocean Street (Route 139), heading towards Pembroke. Travel about 0.9 miles along Ocean Street as it becomes Plain Street. The church will be on your left; the entrance drive is just past the church.
