All Ecumenical, Non-Profit, Outreach Missions:
- Pudding Hill Preschool - An educational program for
children in the Marshfield area between 2.9 years and 6 years old.
- Wesleyan Thespian Mystery Dinners -
Provide an opportunity for nonprofit organizations to have fun while fundraising.
- Grandparents
Raising Grandchildren Support Network -
Serving grandparents raising grandchildren and grandparents denied access to their grandchildren.
- Sowing Seeds - Empowering those in need with companionship, rides,
clothes, counseling, and other aid.
- Food Pantry - A local effort to see that no one in Marshfield goes to
bed hungry.
- Habitat for Humanity - South Shore Habitat for Humanity is a
community housing ministry that has been active in Marshfield for many years.
- Grant Search - A national service assisting charities to identify
funding sources with similar program and geographic interest.

- What We Do - An outreach program of Marshfield United Methodist Church, the Pudding Hill Preschool provides an enrichment program fostering self-esteem, as well as intellectual, emotional and physical development.
- How To Get Help - Call or visit the program any
weekday morning, or come to our open house, held in January of each year prior to our February registration. The children of church members are given registration priority.
- How To Give Help - Volunteer to share your career interest (i.e. nurse, dentist, driver, police), or share your musical talent with the children, volunteer to work on our fund-raising activities throughout the year (i.e. book fair), or simply contribute to our list of items for the children's projects.

- Wesleyan Thespian Mystery Dinner Kits provide nonprofit organizations with a fun way to raise money. These Kits are very successful around the country, and have helped churches, schools, and other nonprofit organizations raise over $700,000.
- The Wesleyan Thespian Mystery Dinner Troupe performs Mystery Dinners by Dick Laffin both at our church and 'on the road' for organizations in eastern Massachusetts. These Mystery Dinner performances have resulted in a high level of involvement on the part of church members, and have made our church a presence in the community.

- Open to all grandparents who share similar concerns and life situations, gain an outlet for emotional stress, information and resources.
- What We Do - If
you are raising your grandchild, living in a three generation household or
denied access to your grandchild, you could find support for your daily
challenges by joining us in the Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Support
Network. We network by phone, by e-mail, and by occasional meetings. Many
grandparents have benefited from our network since our beginnings in 1993.

- A network of people sharing their time, ideas, and special gifts, providing the support to empower each person to replace darkness, despair, and hopelessness with dignity and self-esteem.
- What We Do - Provide adult companionship, rides to medical appointments, career and job counseling, shopping, home search for the homeless, meals for infirm clients, handyperson chores, legal aid and advocacy, parenting information, simple budgeting, and clothes.
- How To Get Help - Call Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. A volunteer will return your call to determine how we may be able to help.
- How To Give Help - Donations of any of the following are gratefully appreciated: housing opportunities, job referrals, office space, newer clothes, furniture, your time, monetary donations (checks only, please), personal computers, and printers.

- What We Do - Food is distributed to Marshfield residents in need on an emergency basis.
- How To Get Help - Come to the Congregational Church, Marshfield Center, 10:00 AM to Noon on Tuesdays and Fridays; 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM on Wednesdays.
- How To Give Help - Donations of non-perishable food or money (checks only, please) may be made at the pantry during its hours of operation, or mailed to the Food Pantry. - An Affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International.
- What We Do - A unique program that provides homes for families suffering from housing emergencies or substandard living conditions. Typically for families of 6 or more, with an income between $17,000 and $28,000.
- How To Get Help - Applications are accepted on a
project-by-project basis. When a new project is announced and accepting applications, call 781-340-5992 to obtain the necessary material.
- How To Give Help - Donate building materials, money (checks only, please), work on site in all skills, work on a committee, become a Corporate Sponsor, or provide support services (e.g. legal aid).
